GENESIS

Genesis is the first model created by Constantime, an independent watch atelier based in Târgu Mureș, in the heart of Transylvania.

Its design is deeply rooted in the architectural and historical character of the region. The dial draws inspiration from the vaulted arches of Transylvania’s medieval fortifications, whose rhythm and proportions are reinterpreted through the engraved structure of its surface.

The polished Roman numerals evoke the gleam of the swords that defended these lands for centuries. As light moves across the dial, their reflections create a subtle contrast with the circular satin finish and the soft blue gradient, inspired by the changing tones of the Transylvanian sky.

The brass dial is made entirely in our atelier, where it is engraved, shaped, painted and finished by hand. Each surface is carefully worked to create a refined interplay between texture, light and shadow, while preserving the individual character of every piece.

The sword-shaped hands are also made entirely in-house. From their initial form to the final polishing and finishing, each pair is individually crafted to complement the architecture of the dial and reinforce the distinctive identity of Genesis.

Each watch is individually assembled and inspected in our atelier. At its heart is a Swiss mechanical movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Genesis is produced as a limited edition of only 25 individually numbered pieces, from 01/25 to 25/25. Each watch is made to order, with an estimated production time of approximately eight weeks.

Genesis marks the beginning of Constantime’s watchmaking journey—a mechanical watch shaped by patience, craftsmanship and the enduring spirit of Transylvania.

A unique serial number and estimated production time will be assigned upon order confirmation.
