CONSTANTIME at the Capital Market Forum – 30 Years Since the Reopening of the Bucharest Stock Exchange
On September 24, 2025, I had the honor of participating, together with Mircea Solovăstru – former Rotary Governor for District 2241 Romania and the Republic of Moldova – at the Capital Market Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the reopening of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The event took place in a symbolic setting, at the National Bank of Romania, in the very space where the Stock Exchange first operated after 1995.
The forum brought together leaders from the financial sector, representatives of regulatory institutions, and business professionals, highlighting the evolution of the capital market and its role in the development of Romania’s market economy. It was both a moment of reflection on the market’s maturity and an opportunity for dialogue about the future, investments, and economic responsibility.
My encounter with Mircea Solovăstru added a personal dimension: the connection between Rotary values and the passion for time, tradition, and continuity. Under the Constantime brand, I created a unique personalized watch for Mr. Solovăstru, marking his term (2016–2017) as governor. The design captures the spirit of leadership, integrity, and dedication to community, serving as a bridge between the tradition of watchmaking and the symbolism of Rotary.
Thus, participating in this forum was more than a connection to the history and future of the Stock Exchange: it was a reaffirmation of my belief that time – measured through precise mechanisms or historic milestones – remains the most valuable resource we have.
